An original deadstock 1950s GPO (General Post Office) work uniform in a beautiful dark navy wool serge, still with the paper sizing/makers label attached to the interior. The jacket is single-breasted with three plastic GPO buttons and red piping running along the facing. The trousers are high-waisted with buttons for braces to the exterior. A lovely piece, especially the red piping and GPO buttons! Both the jacket and trousers are in an unworn vintage condition, a fantastic addition to a GPO collection.
Condition:
- Excellent unworn vintage condition. There is however a small hole on the top of the shoulder (photographed), difficult to see except under close scrutiny! Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
Please check the measurements below and compare to a similar garment of your own before purchasing. I am unable to offer refunds for items that don’t fit.
