General shop information

I make every effort to produce, package and ship all ‘made to order’ items as soon as possible. Due to the nature of these handmade items, please allow 1-2 weeks for your order to be made. Other items that do not need to be produced (such as vintage items) will be packaged and posted at the next available opportunity. At the moment I am only posting on WEDNESDAYS.

General shipping information

Please ensure you have read the listing description for details on how the item will be posted before making your purchase. Once posted, I am unable to provide a ‘Signed For’ or ‘Tracking’ number unless the item is posted with that service as standard.

Combined shipping is available for all purchases. Add all chosen items to your basket and combined postage will automatically be calculated.

Shipping within the UK

Generally, and unless stated otherwise in the listing description, ‘Standard Shipping’ for items posted within the UK is the Royal Mail Signed For service, but depending on order total and package size/weight maybe be sent with an alternate service/courier.

Once posted, items should arrive in 1-3 business days.

Shipping outside of the UK

Generally, and unless stated otherwise in the listing description, items posted outside of the UK are posted with the Royal Mail International Tracked (or Signed, depending on location) service, but depending on order total and package size/weight maybe be sent with an alternate service/courier.

Once posted, and depending where you are in the world, items normally arrive in 2-6 weeks. I cannot be held responsible for any delays whilst in transit.

Unfortunately, due to the complications that have arisen with Brexit, I no longer post to countries in Europe. I have experienced some customers ordering from me with a ‘forwarding address’ based in a country I do offer as a shipping destination. If you choose to use one of these services, please do bear in mind that once your item(s) have been posted and accepted at your forwarding address I accept no responsibility for what happens to your order after this point.

Cancellations, exchanges and returns

Due to the time and costs involved in making my handmade items, cancellations, exchanges and returns are at the shop’s discretion. I do not accept cancellations, exchanges or returns for items that are simply not wanted. For all the situations listed below, please do contact me if you have a query.

Cancellations are accepted in some situations. However, certain items in my shop can be made and sent out very quickly, so if you have ordered in error or would like to cancel please contact me within 24 hours. Cancellations outside of this period are at the shop’s discretion.

Exchanges are accepted in some situations. If an exchange request is accepted, return/re-shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect due to shop error. Please message me if you have a query regarding an exchange of item.

Returns are accepted in some situations, however buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If you would like to return a purchase please contact me with your return request within 7 days of delivery and, if the return request is accepted, return the item within 14 days of delivery. If the item is not returned to me in its original unused and saleable condition the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. If you are sending something back that’s faulty, damaged or incorrect due to shop error, the refund will include the initial postage costs along with the cost of the item.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can’t accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale

If an item is returned to me without my prior knowledge this is classed as a forced return and the item is not eligible for a refund or exchange.

Wrong address supplied with an order

It is the responsibility of customers to check that the delivery address supplied with an order is correct. If the address given is incorrect, please do let me know the correct delivery address as soon as possible; once I have posted an item I am unable to have it re-directed to the correct address or to give any refund. If, once posted to the incorrect address, the item is returned to me, it is the responsibility of the buyer to pay the postage costs to have the order re-sent to the correct address.
