This is an absolutely gorgeous bespoke pure wool double-breasted overcoat dated 1953 and made by W. Langstaff and Sons of Newcastle-on-Tyne. The overcoat is fully lined and is quite a heavy piece - the postage price therefore reflects this...
Condition:
- The overcoat is in overall very good vintage condition. There are two patches of lining missing to the flaps of the outside pockets (photographed) where a repair has obviously taken place on the inside but this is obviously not visible when worn. There is also a small pull (photographed) to the corner of one of the outside pockets but is not visible when worn. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
