An original 1940s British Officers Khaki Drill (KD) jacket. No date markings unfortunately, but certainly of the period. A very nice piece indeed.
Condition:
- Very good vintage condition with all original revolving shank buttons and brass split rings. There is black mark to the rear shoulder one one side which has been taken into account with the price. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
Detailed measurements (measured when lying flat):
Shoulder-to-shoulder: 16” (~40.5cm)
Shoulder-to-cuff: 25.5” (~65cm)
Pit-to-cuff: 19.5” (~49.5cm)
Chest width (pit-to-pit): 17.5” (~44.5cm)
Waist: 18” (~45.5cm)
Front length: 30” (~76cm)
Please check the above measurements and compare to a similar garment of your own before purchasing. I am unable to offer refunds for items that don’t fit.
Materials:
- No label but appears to be pure cotton, as were all KD jackets of the period.
