DEADSTOCK 1950s/1960s socks made in England by Alkit - a highly-regarded civilian and military outfitters. The socks are mostly very dark brown with a terracotta colour within the ribs. The print on the foot of the socks is fantastic reading 'specially made for Alkit London & Provinces' as well as "S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-E" Flexible Nylon and 'Terylene' Lastex top’. The socks still have stretch - plenty of life left in them!
