UNCOMMON 2016 book of ’Korean Art From Modern Times’. The Ho-Am Art Museum was founded in 1982 by Samsung, the largest South Korean conglomerate. The name Ho-Am comes from the pen name of Samsung’s former Chairman, Lee Byung-chul and has the meaning 'filling up a space with clear water as lakes do, and being unshakeable as a large rock’.
