An absolutely stunning 1950s Tootal tie with their 'Standard Quality' label, made from Tebilized rayon - a method devised in the 1920s by Tootal who developed resins to be added to rayon to prevent creasing. An excellent example of timeless style.
Condition:
- Very good vintage condition. As you will see in the photographs, the blue pattern on the front of the tie is more faded than the portion that is at the back but this does not detract from the look and is not noticeable when worn. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
Dimensions:
- Length: 48" (~122cm)
- Width at widest point: 2 3/4" (~7cm)
Please check the above measurements and compare to a similar garment of your own before purchasing. I am unable to offer refunds for items that don’t fit.
Materials:
- Tebilized rayon
Care instructions:
- Dry clean only
